L'année 2012 n’aurait pas été un grand millésime pour les albums et aurait davantage brillé par la production de singles, à en croire certains amis et chroniqueurs de Slate qui ont refusé de jouer au jeu du top albums, proposant un top 100 singles à la place.
Mais comme les traditions, ça a parfois du bon, nous avons fait fi des grincheux et cédé au jeu des albums de l’année, puis rassemblé/mixé nos playlists pop, rock, hip-hop de l’année.
Notre sélection collective de 17 albums a été concoctée à partir des choix de chacun. Et pour vous prouver que la Cocoe et la Conare n’ont rien à voir là-dedans, les listes individuelles des membres de la rédaction, chroniqueurs et amis de Slate (Johan Hufnagel, Jean-Marie Pottier, François Pottier, Christophe Abric, Elise Costa, Ondine Benetier, Alexandre Hervaud, Anastasia Levy, Olivier Tesquet, Adrien Toffolet et Eric Vernay) sont disponibles ci-dessous. Ainsi que les sélections classique de Jean-Marc Proust, et de Fred Kaplan pour le jazz, forcément hors-concours.
